add the possibility to select an extract folder (on another drive) in addition to a download folder
this would allow for all decoding and repairing to happen on a fast drive (SSD in my case) and storing on a big drive
Starting with version 3.2.2.0 it’s possible to select a separate folder / drive used for decoding / merging the articles.

Hi there, thanks for coming closer to what I asked. This is a great step forward! The rars however still end up in the download folder. Please also store them in the temporary decoding / merging articles folder.

I noticed status changed to completed. I guess you completely missed the point. I want the temporary files, rar files and rapairing to happen on disk #1 and the final download extracted to disk #2. As long as this feature is not in I will not use the bintube client.
"The temporary folder option for decoding, extracting and repairing does not make sense in BinTube Usenet Reader because it's all done during the download." If my large harddrive has to write the rars, write the extracted file, read the repair files repair the rars and write the fixed rars again, etc, during all other activity like playing another file it results in lag. That is why I want all decoding, rar writing and repairing to happen on my ssd and final extraction to happen to my large drive. This feature thus is not completed!!!

Regardless of SSD this feature would be nice (and easy to code I guess)

If I set my fastest drive (80GB SSD) as download drive it will be full in two days... I want it do download to the fast drive and do the checking there and the play while downloading, but not the extracting for storage. I want that to go to my larger slower drives.

Why not just set your fastest drive as the download folder? That's what I do. Then the extraction will happen there automatically.
