allow use of external or other players.
I would love to use some player other than VLC for example KMPlayer
Either through external usage or if possible through internal implemention in Bintube.
KMPlayer should be able to play the file just like VLC Player-
VLC isn't that great on many systems and is unstable, having a alternative like KMPlayer would be great. Adding external player support should be relatively easy I presume.

@TimBess- the preferences require separate complete and incomplete folder, what happens when the download finishes and BinTube moves it over?
Futhermore, I might be willing to do this, but I can barely get my roommates to download an NZB, using nzbTVSeeker.com...

You can already do this.... just go to the folder of the download while your downloading and open it with whatever player you want.

This would make running Bintube software in Parallels or another virtual machine possible viable as I can route the video to either CoreAVC within the virtual machine or to a native OS X player...

I don't agree with your comments. BinTube stability is great right now with Windows 7 + VLC. Making the software open to other players can only bring instability and even more frequent updates.
VLC and Media Player Classic are the same. VLC is just more popular. Get over it -

Agree with external players. Hey, Bintube staff, remember when you said your going to implement windows media player into Bintube a year ago? Im still waiting.
For a temp fix, ill accept a right click men on the playlist that has the option to "Open With"

To Wayne:
Well that is true, but it would be nice that one can implement it inside bintube... There should be a option to select a 'player' and then the file can be auto-played externally... This way you don't have to go to the file and then play it, it'll be automatic.

you can. Just turn off auto play, and open the file that is being downloaded with media player classic homecinema. I do this all the time. It works great. CCCP all the way!
