We will be releasing a beta for Linux and Mac in the near future. Stay tuned.
We already have a cross-platform client in the works. Just hang in there :)
Our subscribers only pay for Usenet access.
$10.99 per month for Unilimited access with over 730 days retention (and growing) is already a very very good offer. On top of that all our users get access to our Usenent search engine, including MAC users.
So even If you cannot run BinTube software, our offer is still better than anything else out there.
The problem with DLNA is that the GUI presented by DNLA renderers is klunky, slow and very limited. We have already been toying with the idea for a while and plan to integrate DLNA functionality into the software at least to stream downloaded media files over DLNA. But don't expect to be able to browse Usenet from your TV anytime soon, at least not using the DLNA browsing functionality available today. A Boxee plugin would be more suited for this but we currently have our hands full. If anyone has experience programming for Boxee and and wants to take this on, drop us a note.
Space Bar for play and pause, as well as arrows alread work in full screen mode.
It wouldn't make it faster.
Are you aware that you can do this inside the search engine and generate an NZB containing just the files you need?
