Sorry guys, but at this time a mac version is just not possible. We considered going multiplatform with JAVA, but getting JAVA to acceptable performance levels is a very difficult if not impossible. A native mac version is not out of the question, but the numbers aren’t there yet.

Windows is just to risky to use - especially with Usenet downloads. Too many viruses, and far too brittle and error prone. MacOS is more secure, has a far faster file system/search engine, and in general, is a more advanced OS, especially with the multiple media types found on the Usenet. It's been many,many years since MS has really updated Windows, after all.

So, 'admin', your comment system doesn't have an indication for 'rejected' under suggestions. I see lots of other 'accepted, planned, etc' indications on other comments, but no outright 'rejected' - just your cute little winky smiley ;)
is the the equivalent of 'rejected' or a precious way of saying STFU? If you have no plans to properly support the MacOS, please let us know and we'll move on. it -is- the #1 requested feature with 94+ votes.
